Just a few mornings ago, I was gazing out my porch window at the light playing on the hardwood boughs across the road from my home. The sunlight toppled through the red pine-lined backdrop and shone brilliantly on pops of red maple and golden birch, shimmering and dancing with the wind. I wanted to capture the way the light plays on the brilliance and movement of leaves in the autumn, a season that is always here and gone too soon.
